Create A New Training

As a trainer, manager or administrator, you have the access to create a new training for your organization. Trainings can be for new hires or for access level purposes. This step-by-step guide and video will demonstrate how to create a new training, including the initial form and editing lessons with slides and quizzes.

Create New Training

Step 1

Go to the Training Center page from the drop-down menu at the top, left corner.

Step 2

Click on the blue Trainer Management tab in the upper, right corner of the Training Center.

Step 3

Click on +New in the upper right corner of the page to create a new training.

Step 4

Complete the short form, including the name of the training and a description of the course, if available. Click create training.

Step 5

Complete additional details regarding this training such as adding trainers by name, turning sessions on and off, and selecting whether there will be a charge for the training. Click save once all additional details are correct.

Creating Lessons (within a training)

Step 1

After saving the additional details to the training, click on +New Lesson on the right side of the page of the new training.

Step 2

Enter a title for the lesson, and fill in additional details. Be sure to make the lesson visible. This is an important step because you will not be able to make the training visible until there is at least one visible lesson. Click save.

Add/Edit Slides and Quizzes (within a lesson)

Step 1

Once the lesson is created and saved, you will be taken to the page of the lesson. Here, click on Add Slide or Add Quiz to add content to this lesson.

Step 2

To add slides, click on Add Slide, and open your computer's file manager.

Step 3

Locate the slide/document you want to add to the lesson. Drag the file in the drag and drop box, or choose and file by clicking on the Choose Files button located at the bottom, right corner of this screen. Videos can also be uploaded here, through the slide interface.

Step 4

Once the slide is uploaded, you will be taken back to the lesson's front page. Some videos may say processing after they are uploaded. Simply refresh your browser when this occurs. From here you can edit or add more slides. You can also move on to edit a quiz for this lesson.

Step 5

To add a quiz, click on Add Quiz and fill out the quiz details. Then scroll down to fill out the first quiz question, including answer options and select the correct answer.
